On behalf of our Divan Ladies and as your First Lady of Morocco Shriners for 2024, I would like to thank you for supporting your Noble and look forward to a wonderful year working together. It is our hope that this handbook will answer some of the many questions you may have about the Shriners. If you have questions that are not covered, please let us know.

 

Each year The First Lady of Shriners International as well as Morocco’s First Lady selects a project to raise funds for various needs. It could be for programs and/or items that are needed for the Shriners Children. Contributions for these projects are in addition to funds raised for Patient Transportation costs. Sometimes our Morocco Shrine Center may have needs as well. This year, in addition to raising funds for a facility dog program at the Gainesville Clinic, I would like to raise funds for the continuing enhancements of the new building, specifically new banquet-style chairs for events.

 

I also encourage you to visit https://lovetotherescue.org/women-impacting-care and read about our Imperial First Lady, JoLynn Dickens’ project, “Believe in Tomorrow”. First Lady JoLynn invites us to join her and other women in making an impact in the lives of the patients at Shriners Children's. Her program focuses on the healthcare system's efforts to help teenage patients with life-long conditions, transition to adulthood and adult healthcare.

 

Your Divan ladies are here to help you. We hope that you will continue to be inspired by the Shriners Philanthropy and donate your time to the efforts of helping children. Not one person can do it alone.
